The 300 Things

This is a part Cartesian, part dot-matrix graph that shows the top 300 objects found in my room. The objects are ranked by their degree of usefulness on the y-axis and by sentimental value on the x-axis. Left being disliked, right being liked, top being useful and bottom being not useful at all. This graph shows at one glance the overwhelming amount of stuff a normal person possesses, that many of the things are ephemeral and useless, and is an articulation of the relationship between a person and his or her objects.
